These tips for Tier 4 student visa for UK can help students to avoid making mistakes and it will increase the chances of getting their Tier 4 student visa for UK.

Bank statement must be personal bank account and it must be under your name or your parents name.

Make sure the bank statement is personal bank account and it has to be under your name or under your parents name. The bank account of a company is also unaccepted, so many people thinks that they can submit their parents company account but UK immigration office does not accept that bank statement. If you are thinking that bank account of other people besides your parents or your personal account will be accepted then you are wrong.  For UK visa bank statement is one of the most important factor for approval of your visa.

Bank account must have enough money that will cover your study

If you degree costs 15000 pound sterling and if your bank account have 15,000 pound in it, then you might get rejected that is because you do not have enough money to cover your expenses and as well as you study all together. If your study cost 15,000 pound per year then you should have 30,000 pound to be in the safer side. You will need to have 25,000 pound minimum but it is highly recommended that you have over 15,000 pound for your living specially if you are going to study in London. One room can cost up to 700 pound per month and if it is outside London then it can cost up to 500 pound per month. Some cities are cheaper which one bedroom can cost about 300 to 400 pounds per month including utility bills. If you come from wealthy family then I could recommend you put enough money that will cover all three years of your bachelor degree. Having enough money in your bank account reasonable demand by the immigration office because you have to pay your tuition fees at the start of your study, so if you don't have enough money to pay for your tuition fees and as well as your accommodation then there is no point of giving you the visa since you are telling them that you cannot afford to study in UK.

Choose the university that you can afford

Some students apply to the university that they cannot afford to pay, and they do not have enough money in their bank account when they try to apply for visa. If you can afford tuition fees of 8,000 pound per year then choose a university that has tuition fees of 8,000, another tip is try to apply for international students scholarship. This scholarship is not full scholarship but it can save you about 1,000 to 3,000 pound per year.

If you have been reject before make sure you write it in your application

It is so important not to lie in your application, you might think that the immigration office does not know but they know almost everything, but it is best to believe that they know everything about you. If you do not remember the date you were refused then you have the section in the end of your application to tell them that you don't remember the dates.

Do not make a mistake in your application and if you do make a mistake then rewrite your application

Do not make a mistake in your application, if you do make a mistake then make sure you rewrite your application even if you have paid the application fees and made an appointment because if you don't correct it they will reject your visa. The advice in getting your tier 4 visa for UK is to fill your visa application correctly. If you made a mistake then just cancel your appointment and ask for refund, the refund takes long time but they do refund it. Therefore, just cancel your appointment and ask for refund and write your application over.

Have an accommodation before you apply for visa

In UK if you want to rent an accommodation then you need to view the place before you can rent it, and international students cannot view the place unless they have the visa to come and view the place unless you ask a friend in UK to view the place for you. The tip for getting an accommodation before you come to UK is hostel. Even if it is costly or bad, book and pay for the hostel at your university. The reason for this is because you could ask for refund if you don't like the place when you come to UK. Make sure you write the correct address and the contact details of the accommodation you are going to stay, common mistake is when people write the address of the university or their friends address in another city. Print the payments you have made for the accommodation and submit it with your visa application.

Do not take your family if you are going to study bachelor degree or masters degree in UK

You cannot get dependent visa for your wife and children if you are going to study undergraduate courses or masters degree, only Phd students can apply for dependent visa. Applying for your student visa with your wife and kids will just increase the chance of rejection of your visa. Apply for your self only and then if you badly want to bring your family then apply later for them as 6 months tourist visa and then send them back to your country before their 6 months visa expires and then apply again after that, make sure they don't over stay because if they do overstay then you will not get a visa if you find a job after you graduate.

Make sure application is 100 percent correct

One of the most important tip in obtaining Tier 4 student visa for UK is to fill up the application form fully correct, there are sometimes when people are unable to answer all the questions in the application form. In that case there are a space in the end of the application form where they allow you to add more information in your own words. Explain why you could not answer the questions and also explain why you cannot provide some documents. It is important for UK immigration to know that you are not hiding any information from them.

Make sure you have more than enough money in your bank account

Having not enough money in your account is basically asking them to refuse your visa, in your account you must have enough money to cover your tuition fees, accommodation and extra money for other spending. For example if your tuition fee is 15000 pound, accommodation is 500 pound per month, make sure you have minimum of 25000 pound which is 15000+(500x12)+4000=25000. It is always best to be safe than sorry, if you don't have enough money to show the immigration then it obvious that you should go somewhere you can afford. If you have sponsor or scholarship then you have to provide the documents. In the UKVI websites you can get the exact minimum amount you have to have in your account.

Make sure your bank account is according to the guidelines of the UK visa immigration (UKVI).

Make sure your bank account is according to the guidelines of the UK visa immigration (UKVI). The account has to be under your name or under your parents name. It has to be available on demand, basically you should be able to draw anytime, so it is always best to show normal savings account, not fixed deposit account or anything like that. It is best if the account is in British pound but if it is in any other currency then your should go to the website provided by the UKVI and covert it and print it and submit it together with your bank details. Sometimes students thinks that it should be fine no worries!! IT IS WRONG, if you think something is wrong then make sure it is fully correct and according to the guidelines. If you country provides different kind of format then you should try a bank that provides the format the UKVI request.

Do not bring you family if you are married

The dependent visa can only be issued to the students that are studying Phd or doctorate, so if you even apply for your family they will reject the visa, because you can only get dependent visa if you are studying postgraduate course lasting more than 12 months, so Masters Degree also does not including because it is 12 months. If you really want to bring your family then you can apply for 6 months tourist visa.

Try to find accommodation before you apply for visa

Having accommodation before apply for visa is also helpful, if you can't find accommodation before you apply for visa then you should explain in your application why you couldn't find accommodation, because in the application there should be a place where you have to provide details of your accommodation in UK so if do not have a place to stay then explain it in the end of the application where they allow you to provide more details or information. Do not write the address of the university if you don't have accommodation in UK and expect it would be ok. It is also highly advisable to stay in the hostel of the university in the beginning and once you find a place then you can move out.

Conclusion

UK visa and immigration are reasonable, they do give visa if all your documents and application is fully correct. They don't know you, so they will only make their best assumption based on the documents and information provided by you when they make decision in your application. They are more than happy to give visa for those who really can afford to study, wants to study, capable of studying without failing, and a good person that has nothing to hide.

UK is on of the most expensive country in world, but offers the best education and good experience. Most of the people's dream is to study in UK, but unfortunately not everyone can afford to study in UK because of the fees and expenses. There are a lot of international students who struggle to graduate in UK, some of the students cannot get use to the study and therefor they have to extend, every time when they extend their study it cost them a lot, it is not just the cost of tuition fees but it also other cost such as rental, food, transport and personal spending. With the right budgeting plan students can save so much and be able to continue their study if their study depends on money.
Picture
  • Be careful when you work
A lot students spend most of their time in working, students should find out if they are allowed to work, if they are allowed to work then they should find out how many hours. Students should focus more on their study rather than working because more the students work, less time they will spend on their study. When students work so much, then they will start failing their subjects and this will force them to expend their study. When they extend their study they have to pay for that subject again and the other costs. Students should avoid failing, if students work because they don't have enough money to pay their fees then they should be careful to not over work. The faster the students finish their study the faster they can start working in full time, the more they extend their study, more they will spend money.

  • Cutting on social life.
Students spend so much money on social life, they go out a lot to watch movie, hangout with their friends, night clubs, and playing games. Social life is good but if it is costing you so much money then you should not spend time on social life, instead you should spend those time on studying. Every time when students go out they spend minimum of 10 pounds if they go out twice a week that is 20 pounds a week and it will be 80 pounds per month. This 80 pounds can help you in a lot of things. Saving money on social life is one of the tips in budgeting money for students.
  • Stop spending money on electronics.

When new phones come out, don't buy it because every time when you buy those gadgets you will lose the money that could be useful for other important things. Every time when we asked the students few weeks later when they bought new electronics if they will sell it for the 20 percent cheaper than what they paid for it then they all agree. If they want to sell they thing then why did they but in the first place, people realize it only after they buy the things. If students save money on phone then they can save 400 pounds per year after we assume that a phone can last for one year. Saving money on gadgets is one of the important tips in budgeting money for students.
  • Stop spending money on clothes.

If you have enough clothes then you don't need any extra clothes to look better than any other people. Students can look better than others with their study, students look really good when they get good grades. Clothes are expensive, one shirt could cost up to 20 pounds, if a students saves money on clothes they can save minimum of 50 pounds a month.
  • Share a room.

Room sharing can cut your cost in half but it may increase little bit on utilities, If a room cost 50 pounds per week if your share it with a friends it can cost only 25 pounds and if the utility increase then it will only increase by little because your room mate will also share the utility bills.
  • Start cooking at home.

Eating at home is cleanest and at the same time it is a lot cheaper than eating outside. If students cook at home they cut their cost in half or even more than half. Lets say if a student spends average of 15 pounds a day on food by eating outside, this could cost them minimum of 450 pounds a week, this is a lot of money, but if they cook at home they will only have to spend 200 pounds a month but it is also depending on what they cook and how they cook at home. Most recommended is if they eat rice, Asian people save money on food by eating rice, but make sure your don't eat rice like Asians do, because it is not healthy to eat the same food everyday. Cooking at home is one for the important tips to save money for students.
  • Saving money on relationship.

Relationships can be costly, but for some other people it can help them to save money, it all depends of the couples. Few say they can save money is if they stop buying gift for each other, if they share the receipt and if they encourage each other to save money. You cannot show your girlfriend or boyfriend your feelings by buying things for them, if you want to show your feelings then best way is by spending quality time together where you communicate about your feelings and your problems.
Conclusion
There are so many more ways students can save money but students can save minimum of 300 pounds a month by just following our tips. That 300 pounds a month can be very useful in important times, but if the students put that 300 pounds per month on fix deposit then they can earn interest and it could be more after they draw the money in a year or two. Students should spend more effort on saving money rather than working extra hours. Students should have a goal and every day they should remind them self about their goal, and they goal should be finishing they studies on time and with good grades.
