Steps to get Students Visa for Malaysia

  1. Apply for University 
  2. Pay the fees that University tells you to pay
  3. Wait for the University to inform you if your visa is approved by immigration or EMGS. You can not be in Malaysia during this period of time, if you are in Malaysia then you will have to exit. 
  4. Print your approval letter and go to the Embassy of Malaysia in your country, if your country is not listed below then you can get your visa at the airport for 14 days
  5. Print the application form for medicla chek up, at educationmalaysia.gov.my
  6. Go to the listed clinics for medical check up, at educationmalaysia.gov.my
  7.  Submit your medical check up and your passport to the university.

Student Visa to Malaysia

Citizens of many countries can obtain s student visa in Malaysia. Once you get your offer letter from the University you want, then  you must come to Malaysia with tourist visa, after that the University will apply for the student visa for you with the immigration of Malaysia.. Most of the countries can get social visa at the airport in Malaysia.
The following countries have to get visa before entering Malaysia.

Afghanistan, Republic, Angola, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burkina, Faso, Burma(Myanmar), Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Colombia, Cameroon, Republic of Congo, People's Republic of China, Congo Democratic Republic, Cote dIvorie, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Hong Kong (C/I or D/I), India, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Western Sahara, Taiwan, visit the website of Immigration of Malaysia for more info.

Dependent visa for students who wish to bring their relatives or spouse.

International students are allowed to bring their wife or housband, and children to Malaysia during their study. Most universities apply for dependent visa for students who wish to bring their relatives or spouse only for those students who are studying in Masters Degree and Ph.D, and some other universities apply the dependent visa for students who wish to bring their relatives or spouse for students who are studying at any level of course as long as they have students visa. If the university does not apply the dependent visa for your spouse or children then the students can go to immigration of Malaysia and apply it them self.
