Eligibility of Medical Schools in Malaysia
Try not to put all your hopes in one university but instead get information on variety of universities in Malaysia because all of them have different processes of applying for medical schools in Malaysia. Some universities makes it easy and other universities makes it harder than normal process. These are the minimum requirements of studying at Medical Schools in Malaysia:
- A-Level, the A-level should focused on Science, if the focus of your A-level is Business or Management then you will not be able to get in to Medical Schools in Malaysia or MBBS courses.
- Foundation in Medical Science or Foundation in Health Science or Biology. It depends on the university, but when you ask the university for information then ask them "what are the routes of studying Medical Courses or MBBS at your Medical School of your University?"
- Grade 12 or High School at recognized country that the focus is on Science.
English Language Eligibility
The universities in Malaysia do require for English Language tests like TOEFL and IELTS test, but if you do not have enough grades then you do not have to worry about it since the universities have their own English Learning Centers. You will need to study for minimum of 3 months and up to 12 months depending on your level.
Medical checkup for study Medical courses in Malaysian Universities
You will need to get medical check but we advise you to do the checkup before you pay for admission fees because they are not refundable, make sure you do not have any virus or any sickness otherwise your application and visa application will be refused. The university will give you the application that needs to be filled for medical checkup for visa.

Approval Letter
After submitting all the documents requested by the university that you applied in Malaysia, then you need to wait until your approval letter is given by the university which will take average of 2 to 3 months. After your approval letter is ready then you can go to the Malaysian Embassy in your country get get Special Visa which is valid for about 1 to 3 months. After that then just prepare your traveling and go to Malaysia.
