MMU would be the better option if you want to become a lawyer in Malaysia, but you need to check with MQA approval for ATC and BAC, but we really think that BAC and ATC is good if you want to go international because they offer degree from UK. In Malaysia regardless of what but as long as the education provider is in Malaysia and if your degree is not MQA approved then you will not get jobs easily.

Hi there,

I have heard that postgraduates from Taylor's are not recognised or accepted by the Msia government. Is this true?

Reply
Findinguniversity link
2/16/2014 02:10:47 pm

If the postgraduate course is approved by MQA, then its recognized, easiest way to check is google, MQA approved Malaysia, then it give you the list of universities and the courses that are approved. Usually MQA is not approved yet because no one has graduated from that course. If Masters in Law is not MQA approved then that means no one have graduated from Masters in Law. Once some one graduates then they will be approved. But we sure that Taylor's will make sure their qualification is recognized in Malaysia, we wouldn't worry about.

No, local students have equal opportunity to find the job, but it's all about the interview, if you can present your self well then you will stand a chance to get the job before anyone regardless of where they study.

We have done our research on ATC and BAC, and they are both amazing college for Law courses with variety of choices but just in our own opinion, there are few reasons why we would go with Taylo's University and one of them is the student's satisfaction, the students from Taylor's University recommends their university to other people. And also Taylor's University have proven them selves with MQA. At the end, it is all up to the students to chose the university or college they want to study, but most important it is up to the students to become what they want to become regardless of the University or College they study in.

studying foundation in law or a level is better to start a degree?

Reply

If you know exactly which university you want to study and if that university offers foundation in law, the foundation is better because you can save time, and they will teach according to their system when you study bachelor degree. If you are planning to change university after foundation then its best to do A levels rather than foundation because some universities do not accept other university foundation.
